The Inlingua method — Russian from lesson one
The Inlingua method, used worldwide since 1968, has a single principle: the lesson is in Russian from minute one. No translation, no memorising word lists. You hear, you repeat, then you understand the rule — the order in which a person learns any language naturally. Discussion, debate, games and speaking tasks make up the body of every lesson.
Who teaches
Russian classes are led by teachers with years of classroom experience, all of whom have completed the Inlingua Academy training programme. The school is licensed under the Inlingua International Trainer programme and is audited to ISO 21001:2018 (Educational Organisation Management Systems).

Can I start Russian in Baku from zero?
Yes. General Russian starts at A1, even if you do not recognise the Cyrillic alphabet yet. The first weeks go on reading and pronunciation, then on everyday speaking.
How long does it take to start speaking Russian?
It depends on your starting level, how many lessons a week you take and how much you practise at home. The CEFR ladder in our Russian guide explains what each level means; we give you a concrete estimate after the free placement test.
Are there online Russian courses in Baku?
Yes — every level can be taken online or in person. Online groups use the same materials and the same teachers; only the format is different.
From what age can a child start Russian?
From age 3. Russian for Ages 3–6 is built on games, songs and rhymes; from age 6 there is the Children & Teens programme.
Do you prepare for the Russian school-leaving and entrance exams?
Yes. Russian Exam Preparation targets exactly those two exams: the task formats, the written part and the oral part.
